Overlooking Lake Superior and just up Ski Hill Road from Lutsen, comes the first annual Lutsong Music Festival! The Caribou Highlands great lawn will host artisans, musicians, and music lovers all weekend with two stages, a vendor village, food, drink, and fun!

Head down the hill to the North Shore Winery main stage each night for the headliner act. After those headliner shows you can take the shuttle back to Caribou Highlands for the Caribou Campfire Guitar Pull.

Lutsong Productions, along with Visit Cook County, Caribou Highlands, the North Shore Winery, Music Mission, and North 61, are excited to present the first annual Lutsong Music Festival!

Molly Dean & Sara Bischoff (Under Violet) will play duo sets of original music, accompanied by bassist Chris Bierden.

Molly Dean bio: Molly Dean is involved in a multitude of creative projects, incorporating live-looping of vocals and guitar...."Where one would expect some jarring juxtaposition of sound, Dean gives us seamless layers. She combines seemingly incongruous elements to create light and hypnotic beauty."

Under Violet bio: Under Violet is led by Sara Bischoff (Web of Sunsets/Heavy Deeds). Inspired by a mix of Mazzy Star and vintage country, the music is dreamy and spacious, creating a folk-rock glow for projecting minimal and dark portraits.

Chris Bierden Bio: Best known for his bass playing in internationally acclaimed band Poliça, Chris Bierden has also recorded and toured with acts like Har Mar Superstar, Bones and Beaker and Vampire Hands. His ongoing project, Invisible Boy, is an introspective take on 1960s pop and 1970s loner-ism.
